This motorcycle was restored 3 year ago by a 80 year old friend in Florida. Since this restoration, he has become obsessed with this year bike and is completing a second 1915. We have traveled the country to The Antique Motorcycle Club of America swap meets to find Piece by Piece to complete the build and have been side tracked a number of time as we come across other project bikes and have just completed restoring 2- 1910 Harley Single. As my friend says, Why do one when it easier to do 2 of the same bike when building and looking for parts. We do not believe the bikes should go into a Museum to be looked at, they need to be ridden and the more you ride them the better they ride. Learning how to ride one is another story - foot or Hand clutch, timing adjustment on the left grip and Throttle on the right, right foot pedal for rear drum brake and no front Brake. Not easy to stop at 50 to 60 MPH. This little baby has stood up to some of the best and won hands down.
I am an avid collector of antique motorcycles with over 40 in my stable and plan on adding a lot more. If youre an enthusiast of 1915 models and older, then check out the GREAT RACE coming this summer. The Great Race is a cross country competition, which starts at NC and ends in Cali.
