WBAB LONG ISLAND SUMMER OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES 

1.          How to Enter the Contest: 

  a. The LONG ISLAND SUMMER 9-2-5 CONTEST will begin on MONDAY, JUNE 1, 2009 at 9am and end on FRIDAY, JUNE 26, 2009 at 5pm.             

              b. To participate in the contest, be the 20^th caller each day (Monday-Friday) at 9am, 2pm and 5pm and win a pair of tickets to see a WBAB concert at the Nikon Jones Beach Theatre and a WBAB Beach Towel. 

              c. All ticket winners are qualified for the grand prize: a 2009 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883 Low with custom Judas Priest airbrushing.  

              e. One winner per household.  Listeners may only win once during run of contest. 

2.          Eligibility Restrictions: 

              a. The contest is open to all WBAB Listeners who are 18 years of age or older.  All winners must live and/or work in Nassau or Suffolk Counties. Employees of WBAB, Cox Radio, their sponsors and agencies, their officers, commissioners, employees or agents, other radio stations in the state of New York and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win. 

              b. Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest. 

              c. Listeners are eligible to win a prize valued at $600.00 or more only once every three months. 

3.          Prizes:              

              a. Daily prizes (total of 60): Two tickets to a WBAB concert (concerts will be selected solely by WBAB) and a WBAB Beach Towel (approximate prize value: $200).  One Grand prize: a 2009 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883 Low (Grand prize value: $7,145)             

              b. Prizes can we won Monday through Friday at 9am, 2pm and 5pm beginning June 1, 2009 at 9am through June 26, 2009 at 5pm. 

              c. Grand prize winner will be selected by random drawing from all on-air winners and all retail location entries on Friday, June 26^th at around 5:15pm and will be contacted by phone.  Grand prize winner may also be announced on the air.             

              d. All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up in person at the WBAB studios at 555 Sunrise Highway, West Babylon, NY  11704.  Any prize or prize certificate not claimed within forty-five days of winning will be forfeited by the winner.  In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its arrival.  WBAB is not responsible for the safe arrive of a prize or prize certificate.             

              e. Contest prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash. 

              f. Winner does not have the choice of concert tickets.  Tickets cannot be exchange for another show, date or venue. 

4.          Selection of Winners: 

              a. Decisions of station management with respect to the contest are final. 

              b. Winners will be selected by the correct caller (20^th caller) and may be announced on the air.   Grand prize winners will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries on Friday, June 27 at 5:15pm.

 5.          Conditions: 

              a. Payment of all federal, state and local taxes and certain registration and setup fees are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form 1099 or the equivalent. 

              b. By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize. 

              c. Contest winners will be required to sign a liability release prior to acceptance of any prize valued at $600.00 or greater or which prize includes the provision of transportation, whether or not such transportation is provided by WBAB. Pursuant to the liability release, the winners will agree to hold WBAB, its corporate licensee, parent corporation and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or contest. 

              d. WBAB reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, which will become effective upon announcement. 

              e. WBAB is not responsible for technical problems, including, but not limited to, phone disconnections, bad connections, etc.  In the event that a contestant is disconnected before completing the contest, the next caller will be taken as the contestant.

               f. No purchase is necessary. The contest is void where prohibited. 

              g. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant's disqualification. 

              h. Copies of the written contest rules are available during regular business hours at the main studio of WBAB, 555 Sunrise Highway, West Babylon, NY  11704.
