Featured Band

Bryan Eich

Bryan Eich’s songs are like that favorite book you’ve read a dozen times—and still keep coming back to many times; there’s something familiar and reassuring, and yet you continually discover new ideas and nuances with each reading. With soulful vocals, radio-friendly melodies, and compact choruses, Eich’s songs unfailingly grab you at first listen. Find out more!

Message from Fingers

102.3 WBAB-FM has been committed to the local musician in a variety of ways for as long as we have been playing music. Our local music spot light Homegrown has been at the forefront of this effort with three albums and it’s on air and night club presence. In an ever changing and growing world, we always strive to be better for everybody involved.

I am excited to announce that we have moved Homegrown completely to WBAB.COM. This will allow us to better serve the bands and listeners. Now instead of waiting until 11:45 each night for a song to play, we will post bands songs on wbab.com as we have in the past, but we will highlight featured bands.

The featured band will be promoted on air thus sending listeners to really check out the band. They will have a bio, pictures, links, songs and a video posted on their own page on WBAB.COM’s Homegrown section. The real value here is the name of the band being heard on the air several times versus one shot at the end of the day.

Web elements specifications that WBAB can accept are as follows:
  • Video: WMV(windows media video,) .FLV(Flash video,) QuickTime: .MOV, .QT, .WMV, .AVI, .DV, .MPG
  • Music format: MP3
  • Images including pictures, band logos and album covers: .JPEG, .GIF
  • Bios should be in plain text (no PDF)
  • Links should lead to your own Website/MySpace/Facebook only.
