Jesse Kinch is a prodigy
What makes a prodigy? Is it something youre born with? Can you try to create a prodigy? What are the true classifications that make someone a prodigy?
It isnt that complicated. A prodigy is the rare combination of natural ability combined with purity of spirit, passion, finesse and flair. You will feel that spark, that flood of emotion. When you witness sheer electric raw talent, genius ... youll know it! You feel it deep within you. You feel an emotional rush and crave more. Then you will realize that it was a privilege to witness such riveting prowess.
It will make you hopeful for the future.
When you see and hear 15 year old Jesse Kinch perform... youll get it youll just know
Hes has been playing guitar since age 6. He was also duplicating drum solos and vocal performances of great rock bands and singers. Several local music teachers were brought in by his parents who told them, Jesse is unique and suggested not to stifle him with too much formal training because it could interfere with his creativity.
He performed at a Long Island, NY rock club at age 6 with an all adult band behind him easily ripping through the Rolling Stones classic song, Last Time. At age 8, Jesse was featured on TV- News Channel 12, Long Island. At 10, Jesse was invited to the Sam Ash Guitar Competition. He competed against contestants two to four times his age. Jesse played a 5 minute medley of some of rocks greatest songs. He placed third in the competition, even though he received the first place vote of a master guitarist who was one of the judges. At age 11, he started singing and demonstrated perfect pitch.
Jesses passion turned toward rock n roll. His influences became evident in his style. He admired John Lennon, Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison Jimi Hendrix, Vernon Reid and Bruce Springsteen to name a few.
The Long Island, NY youngster will be a high school sophomore next year, but hes already been busy recording, performing and wow-ing audiences for years! His self-titled debut CD, Jesse Kinch and Peace Bullet is set for digital release Fall 2009. Jesses band also includes his brother, Rick Kinch on keyboards.
Jesse says, What drives me now to perform is to be able to connect with a universal audience, to be able to showcase my original songs, and to one day reach my dream of playing at the Grammys and in New York Citys Madison Square Garden.
Most recently, Jesse starred in Eddie Moneys musical autobiography- Two Tickets To Paradise- The Musical at the Dix Hills, NY Performing Arts Center. Jesse was hand-picked by Eddie Money himself for the demanding role. Jesse awed audiences for eight consecutive nights.
Many stated it was the greatest single performance they had ever seen. Jesse sang 14 songs with energy, passion and an extraordinary dynamic quality that left audiences star-struck. He displayed a rock voice and persona that has been his signature since he was 11 years old. Jesses voice also demonstrated an individual emotional depth that captivated audiences and brought them to their feet.
Jesse amazingly portrayed the Young Eddie and literally banged heads with the rock icon belting out many of Moneys hits. New York Newsday theatre critic, Steve Parks said, Young Eddie, remarkably played by 15 year old Jesse Kinch, could be a future rock star, often sounding like the real Eddie at his peak.
Jesse Kinch and his band Peace Bullet are set to head into the studio this summer. Eddie Money has expressed an interest in collaborating on a song with Jesse which could appear on the debut album or maybe even have Jesse do a cover of one of his great hits. Eddie says, Jesse is just like me when I was young. The kid is going to be a star!
Jesse Kinch is a prodigy! like a sparkling diamond He shines bright and glistens with a brilliance for all to see - Without question he is the rock star of the future.
