Step aside Joey Chestnut, there’s a competitor in town about to take your place! Former pro golfer Paige Spiranac says she’s ready to de-throne the world hot dog-eating champion. She posted a video proving her eagerness to participate in the world’s most famous hot-dog eating contest on the Fourth of July. She was able to eat six hot dogs in 10 minutes. Spiranic’s video comes as Chestnut was banned for representing a rival plant-based meat company. (From YouTube video description)
