Bobby Phaneuf was nominated by James Shanahan from the Nassau County PBA. He says, “Bobby was hired by the Nassau County Police Department in November of 2005 and after the Police Academy he was assigned to the 8th Precinct in 2006. After years of hard work he was assigned to the Criminal Intelligence Rapid Response Team in October of 2013. He has always been an active Police Officer making numerous arrests and keeping your communities safe. He has received numerous awards and citations including being the PBA Top Cop of 2024 and the Nassau County Police Emerald Society Cop of the Year for 2025. For all that he has accomplished and continues to do we thank him for his service.”
