Brian was nominated by his mom, Melanie, who said “My son is an MTA police officer by day and a volunteer paramedic for south country ambulance in his off time. On January 25th he saved a person from the cold waters of the great South Bay without any hesitation or reservation! He has always been an amazing person and it started from childhood. He is an Eagle Scout and a Life saver, he is an absolute blessing to anyone and everyone that comes in contact with him. I’m sure the person he saved from the frigid water off Mothers beach today would agree he is the most humble individual. I know so Much so his answer is always, “it’s what I do not about anything else.” I’m So proud of him and what he’s accomplished in a short 27 years I believe he deserves this. Just so Proud of him.”
