Brian Hoffmann | Honoree for September 23rd, 2022

Brian Hoffman

Brian was nominated by his wife Rebecca Hoffmann, who said “Brian Hoffmann deserves to be recognized for his dedication to serving and protecting the citizens of Long Island and New York State. Brian first joined the 1st Responders family over 10 years ago when he was sworn into the Islip Terrace Fire Department to be a helping hand in his hometown. After many years, he knew it was his calling to be the first on scene to help anyone in need. He knew being a 1st responder was what he was meant to be. He then joined the New York City Police Department Academy and then made the move to be a Trooper with the New York State Police. Currently, Brian serves as a Trooper on Long Island and continues to volunteer on his off days with the Islip Fire Department, where he lives with his family. With a young son at home and plenty of household chores always to be done, Brian will never turn down a shift. He doesn’t like the recognition because to him it’s the least he can do and the need to want to help comes natural!”

Brian, thanks for all you do for the community. As a way of saying thanks, you will receive a $100 gift card for Moe’s Southwest Grill and a family four pack of tickets for Legoland Westchester.
