Christina was nominated by her mother Eleanor who wrote “My daughter has the most dedication you could ever want. A doctor, she is chief resident at Brooklyn hospital. During covid she spent all her days and nights just making sure her covid patients had someone to do their nails, hair and they weren’t scared and alone. She worked endlessly being a humanitarian and a doctor. Christina exemplifies what every doctor should be like. We hadn’t seen her for months and were super worried about her health but she made sure her patients came first as they were at the end of their lives. She is our hero and we are so proud to call her our daughter. Christina is our hero
