Dominick Montemurro joined the Nassau County Police Department in June of 2017. He followed in the footsteps of his father who is a retired Suffolk County Police Officer and his older brother who is a Sergeant in the Nassau County Police Department. Dominick was assigned to the Third Precinct in February of 2018. Dominick was an active and hard working officer who was determined to get to the elite Emergency Service Unit. That goal was achieved in December of 2022 when he was assigned to the Emergency Service Unit and it is where he is currently assigned. For his hard work and dedication to the residents of Nassau County we are happy to recognize Dominick Montemurro.
