‘Fine Wine’ Albums: “Queen”

‘Fine Wine’ Albums: “Queen”

Queen debuted in a belladonic haze 50 years ago.

So how did their first-ever single fall on its face?! It’s a mystery to this day, but “Keep Yourself Alive” was a flop by all accounts when it came out in 1973, along with the rest of Queen’s debut album.

That, along with “Liar”, are my personal favorite selections off ‘Queen’.

Flash ahead five decades and Queen are arguably more popular than ever while “Keep Yourself Alive” and the rest of their amazing catalog could fetch them some serious retirement money, over $1 billion to be exact!
