James Beltrami was nominated by his Wife, Suzanne Beltrami, who said “My husband is a hard worker with old school values. He is a captain in the FDNY and treats all his men like family . All are created equal in his world . He loves his country and his job and treats everyone with respect and dignity. He teaches his men everything he knows to make sure they are safe and protected when fighting fires . He is someone everyone can look up to. He takes his job very seriously and his door is always open for questions or assistance. He is truly a gentleman and scholar who shares his wisdom with all. He deserves to be recognized for his 26 years of service to the FDNY and to our community.”
