James Tedeschi | Honoree for June 7th, 2024

James started patrol in 1992 with the New York City Transit Police Department. He joined the NYPD in 1995. He spent 6 years as an undercover officer with 700 arrests. From 2001 to 2008 he became an instructor at the NYPD police academy. He spent one month at Ground Zero in the rescue and recovery effort. In 2008 he transferred to the Nassau County Police Department and was eventually assigned to the second precinct. He is currently still working in the second precinct and in addition to his job as a Police Officer he has been a PBA union delegate for the past 9 years. James is a hard working patrol officer and he is being recognized for his 32 years of public service.
