Joan was nominated by her nephew, Kyle Wappaus, who said, “She works over nights and constantly works 5/6 days a week, 12 hours shifts. Always accepts the call to go to work when not scheduled, to help when short staffed and to make sure those who need dialysis get their treatment at the hospital, Peconic Bay Medical Center.”
