Michael was nominated by his friend, Peter, who said, “Mike is a 31 year highly decorated lieutenant with FDNY*EMS working in Brooklyn. He works diligently protecting his people & those he serves. He is the NY Coordinator of the National EMS Memorial Bike Ride & has always been a “first in last out” kind of guy. Mike put in many long hours working The Pit after 9/11. Mike has also been a Boy Scout leader for the past 15 years. He is a devoted husband & father of 3. He has done all this while obtaining a 5th degree black belt in Shaolin kickboxing".
