Robert “Bobby” Haas was nominated by his coworkers Alex and Tyler who say, “Bobby is the Chief of Mattituck FD and dedicates a tremendous amount of time to make his community safe. Aside from being a top notch firefighter, he is a full time dispatcher for the Hampton Bays Fire District where he is the calm voice of safety for the Hampton Bays, East Quogue and Quogue FDs. He is also a former dispatcher for the Southold Fire District. There are countless things to say about Bobby but one thing is for sure, they don’t make first responders like him just anywhere”
