Thomas was nominated by his father, Thomas Sr, who said “At the age of 27, my son Thomas has been a part of the Massapequa Volunteer Fire Department for 3 years. He was a lieutenant for a while but recently stepped down as he became a NYS certified Paramedic. He worked on his paramedic certification while being an EMT for the Center for Emergency Medical Services. He spends countless nights at the Massapequa Fire House ready to respond to calls and has a love for his Paramedic position now for Northwell. I am so proud of the passion he has to help those in need.”
