On May 7th 2021 Nancy Wilson released her first solo album “You And Me”.
The album included a few covers.
The first track that was released from the album was a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “The Rising”.
The album also includes takes on songs by Simon and Garfunkel and The Cranberries.
Nancy also did her own version of fellow Seattle residents Pearl Jam’s song “Daughter”.
One of the surprising things is when Pearl Jam did the song it was an acoustic number.
Despite the fact that much of Nancy’s album is acoustic, her take on “Daughter” is quite electric.
Watch the video below and see which you prefer, Pearl Jam’s acoustic version or Nancy’s electric take.
