“On June 15th, 2022, Zachary “Zallen” Allen, tragically lost his life in a vehicular accident. Two of his closest friends, Alex Ducorsky and Jake Manyin, started this tournament in 2023 to honor Zachary’s life and have the community come together to participate in one of the things he loved to do most, playing softball. In its first year, the Zachary Allen Classic raised over $16,000 from donations, raffles, and team registrations.”
Join 102.3 WBAB in honoring Zachary at the Third Annual Zachary Allen Classic Memorial Softball Tournament. The 12-team tournament will begin at 10 a.m. on July 12th at Oceanside Park. The event will feature the tournament itself, along with raffles and food trucks during the games. All proceeds from the event will go towards helping fund the Zachary “Zallen” Allen Memorial Scholarship awarded through the Oceanside High School.
