LAS VEGAS — A state trooper’s job is never done even if they’re dressed as a Stormtrooper from “Star Wars."
A state trooper in Nevada was on her way home after a costume party when she noticed a driver going the wrong way on Interstate 15 in Nevada, KNTV reported.
Imagine the driver’s surprise when the trooper walked up not in a police uniform, but in a Star Wars costume.
Trooper Britta Foesch was the designated driver when she left the party and noticed a Prius driving the wrong direction on an exit ramp from the highway. She was able to stop the driver, then called for on-duty law enforcement who arrested the person on suspicion of driving under the influence, KNTV reported.
The stop was actually caught on Foesch’s dash camera, then was uploaded with a special “Star Wars” touch by the Nevada Highway Patrol to Twitter.
The NHP said "the force is strong” with Trooper Foesch.
This morning a off duty Trooper stopped a wrong way driver from entering the I-15. All this happened while the Trooper was dressed as a Storm Trooper after a Halloween party. Driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI, all this was captured on the Troopers personal dash cam. #nhp🎃 pic.twitter.com/blcwkBE9qB
